I've been there

My father taught me to clean and detail cars at age five, and I spent my early years at the dealership, learning every position.

After college, I began my full-time career in automotive retail/wholesale as the General Manager of Sun Chevrolet, which I later acquired from my father in 2012.

Throughout the years, I have built strong leadership teams and grew the family’s business exponentially.

I acquired three declining new car dealerships, converting them into high-volume standalone independent used car dealerships with showrooms and fixed operations departments. Branding myself as “The Used Car King,” I increased our market share to annual revenues of $200+ million.

At the end of 2020, my three Used Car King dealerships and Sun Chevrolet were acquired by EchoPark, a Sonic Automotive Company. I joined the leadership team as the Director of Delivery Center Operations for EchoPark Automotive until May 2022.

Founds Give to Others, a website and non-profit empowering individuals and businesses to donate items and services to local charitable organizations.

Builds a used vehicle superstore in Cicero, NY selling over 2,400 vehicles annually while maintaining a large service department.

2008

Purchases the land and building of another closed Ford dealership and creates a used vehicle location.

2011

Participates in a small workgroup of dealers and the Dealer.com team to design a CRM for new/used car dealers.

2012

Acquires the original Sun Chevrolet dealership from my father.

Participates in design/beta test of Online Shopper, DealerInspire’s first online buying/digital retailing tool.

Leads the transition to one-price at my dealership locations.

Upgrades the Cicero dealership to build a state-of-the-art 43,000 foot used car dealership.

With my broad experience, I can help dealers and vendors alike

My expertise lies in all aspects of automotive retail; wholesale variable operations; and in-dealership fixed operations. I specialize in used vehicle inventory acquisition, used vehicle reconditioning, new and used vehicle e-commerce, digital and traditional marketing, brand building, organizational development, and team building.

I graduated from Le Moyne College with a B.S. in Human Resource Management and I’m a graduate of the General Motors Dealer Academy.

In addition to my work as a car dealer, I have spent years building relationships and making strategic investments as an early investor with Dealer.com, ACV Auctions, and Roadster.

I’m an investor in several automotive-related venture capital funds. I have also participated in numerous beta testing and development projects with Cox Automotive, ACV Auctions, Dealer Inspire, Roadster, and Ally SmartAuction.
